I specialize in building on existing inclusion models by integrating students’ Disabled and Neurodivergent identities, histories, and cultures into curricula and pedagogy.

Students who see themselves in the curriculum are more likely to develop a positive sense of self and feel successful academically and emotionally.

Inclusive Education Coaching

Curriculum Creation & Auditing

I developed a powerful yearlong Disability Justice curriculum that teaches students about disability history, culture, and identity. My curriculum can be customized to suit your curricular needs and goals.

I also specialize in curriculum auditing and creation to embed disability studies into existing curricula, aligned with state standards.

Workshops

I lead engaging and relevant workshops to empower teachers to embed disability justice frameworks into their pedagogy.

All workshops provide strategies and tools teachers can implement in their classrooms to help all students thrive.

1-1 & Team Coaching

Collaborative coaching is crucial for educators at all levels to develop and hone their practice.

I use educators’ strengths in order to build on their areas for growth. I value authenticity, compassion, and provide actionable steps to support novice and experienced educators.

Social Emotional Learning & Anti-bullying Curriculum

Students who learn about disability from a strengths-based perspective and honor that the Disabled community has its own identity and culture are more likely to develop a stronger sense of self and are less likely to bully others.

I develop social-emotional learning curricula and help coach teachers and schools to embed the curricula into their existing frameworks.

“Over the past three years they have collaborated on programs where students explore the history of disability narratives, representation and activism. They invite guest speakers and connect students with artistic and cultural institutions around the city where they can engage in accessibility, equity and inclusion efforts. Through their programs the students even have the chance to perform at the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center.”
